SALVATI COPIII was established in 1990. It is a non-governmental, independent organization, non-profit and apolitical.

it promotes the rights of the child in accordance with UN Convention on Child Rights
it addresses itself to all children in Romania, especially to disadvantaged children
its activities are based on the voluntary work of its members

the Romanian correspondent of the International Social Service in Geneva

member of the Romanian Forum for Children and Families Affected by HIV/AIDS
member of NGO Federation on Child Protection

SALVATI COPIII initiated for the first time in Romania research and study on the compliance of Romania laws with the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, the sexual exploatation of children, child labor, street children, abandonment prevention and reintegration into families, the situation of refugee children in Romania and situation of Romanian children abandoned in other countries.
